Christmas Movie Picks.

Finally my favourite time of year! Evan and I have our tree up and a stack of DVDs ready to play. On top of that I’ve DVR’ed a bunch of Hallmark Christmas movies and have had them on while I’m doing homework for around two weeks.

I thought I would share the movies that we watch every year, and the ones that I was raised on!

Available on Netflix:

  • Four Christmases
  • A Holiday Engagement
  • Angel of Christmas
  • A Very Murray Christmas

Available on DVD:

  • Christmas Vacation
  • The Santa Clause
  • The Santa Clause 2
  • Christmas with the Kranks
  • Elf
  • How the Grinch Stole Christmas
  • Rudolph the Red- Nosed Reindeer
  • A Charlie Brown Christmas

Harder to Find (but totally worth it) :

  • To Grandmother’s House We Go
  • Muppet’s Family Christmas

Do you watch anything with your family that’s not on this list? Comment and let me know.

P.S. Evan wants me to mention A Christmas Story. It’s his favourite, but I’ve never seen it.

Have you watched a Christmas Story yet? I hope so – that is required Christmas viewing! I’ve been to the house in the movie – it’s in Cleveland, Ohio and is now a store that sells all sorts of delightfully tacky crap relating to the movie.
